What to expect
Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Experience Gjirokastra, Rr. Gjin Zenebishti, sheshi Cercizit, nr 5, Gjirokaster 6001 Albania
The ancient Ottoman town of Gjirokastër, a UNESCO World Heritage site, will be our next stop. We will go to the castle, which looks over the whole town and the rest of the Gjere mountains. visit the museum and listen to the history of this marvelous city.
After some photography of the landscape, we will proceed to the 17th century Ottoman bazaar, which offers the perfect opportunity to buy some locally-inspired souvenirs. Another 18th/19th Ottoman structure, Skenduli house, has been preserved ever since it was taken from the wealthy Skenduli family at the start of communism in Albania. A 10th generation family member will show us around and explain all of its quirks .
Don't worry about eating because I shall take care of everything. I will introduce you to a local family that will welcome us into their home as their guests. They will prepare a lunch, consisting of many traditional dishes cooked by housewives. You can get to know the locals and ask them any questions you have about their lifestyle and the history of their town.

Stop At: Lekuresi Castle, Saranda Albania
The final stop is back in Saranda where I will take you to my favourite place to enjoy the breathtaking landscape as the sunsets. If you like, this can include swimming or eating locally grown fruits with some drinks, making for an unforgettable day.
Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes
Stop At: The Blue Eye, Vlore Albania
Join me for a journey that goes beyond the ordinary sights and experiences that most tourists can find in Albania. My guided tour offers the perfect opportunity to become acquainted with the culture and traditions of my country, and to see for yourself the wild nature of the lonian land. Just as importantly, I can be your photographer so that every special moment of your adventure is captured.
The journey starts from your accommodation, taking you along the scenic route amongst the mountains to the Blue Eye spring, a famous natural monument here, you have the pleasure of exploring the forest and finding the crystal clear source of the Bistrica river. Rebellious tourists may jump into the icy water but that is only for the brave! Maybe I can tell you about the most interesting legends about Blue Eye's origins instead.
Duration: 50 minutes
Stop At: Ksamil, Ksamil, Saranda, Vlore County
The last stop will be my hometown and its islands.

Arii Is a very kind and well prepared guide! We enjoied out trip a lot, It was Amazing! So kind with our 4 years old daughter! He took us to the Blue Eye, then to the Castle of Gjorokaster and to the bazars for shopping. He make us a gift too. Then he provided for food and drinks. We had a wonder...

He took us to the Blue Eye, then to the Castle of Gjorokaster and to the bazars for shopping. He make us a gift too. Then he provided for food and drinks. We had a wonderful lunch (the One we enjoied the most) in a typical family house. They were all very gentle with us. At the end we watched the sundown at mirror beach and retourn to Ksamil.He took all the pics and made videos! That was all super! I suggest to contact him a lot!!Marie S

Mein Freund und ich waren dieses Jahr das erste mal in Albanien und haben daher jemanden gesucht der uns Albanien, auch aus den Augen eines Einheimischen, zeigen kann. Schon bei der Hinfahrt zum ersten Stopp hat man gemerkt das Ari ein sehr sympathischer und liebenswerter Mensch ist, der seinen Beruf mit Leidenschaft ausführt und Spaß daran hat sein Land und seine Kultur zu zeigen. Wir hatten über den kompletten Tag sehr viel Spaß und haben uns mit ihm wohl gefühlt. Man hatte das Gefühl das man mit einem Freund unterwegs ist. Alles in allem kann man sagen, das der Trip mehr als sein Geld wert ist und wenn man Albanien in all seinen Schönheiten kennenlernen will mit viel Hintergrundwissen, dann ist der Trip ein muss. The tour with Ari was just exceptional and the highlight of our vacation in Corfu, Greece. Ari is a young, smart and enthusiastic guy who knows his facts, is perfectly well organized and can read his guests minds when it comes to special wishes or questions. As two girls we weren't sure about a whole vacation driving around in Albania on our own, that's why we decided to go to Corfu and visit Albania from there. From Corfu you can go easily to Sarande, Albania, by ferry. The ferry goes 5 times a day. Ari picked us up at Saranda port and we started our tour with a breakfast stop at blue eye springs, an amazing reservoir, over 50 meters deep with groundwater, crystal clear and freezing cold. From there we took the road to Gjirocastra, an ancient Ottoman town and UNESCO world heritage and visited a castle and an Albanian history museum. After this visit we had a great lunch at a traditional Albanian restaurant, it was just delicious and the people so overwhelming friendly. After lunch we stopped at a spot with the greatest view over Albanias coast. Our last stop, and this one wasn't included originally in the tour, was an hour at the beach in Ksamil, a lovely small city near Saranda for swimming and sunbathing. After a whole day in Albania we know for sure we will come back for a longer trip to visit the beautiful nature and the lovely people again. Ari was the perfect one to guide us with his vast knowledge in history and excellent social skills. With him we never had a boring moment and with such good english. It was a pleasure to have him as our guide. I highly recommend anyone to go to Albania for their holiday and to see the countrys rich history and beautiful beaches. Also proper command of English so there was no awkward situation where we did not understand each other. I would definitely recommend him for a private tour if you would like to know more about the south of Albania. Thanks you for that special trip.
